Sightseeing at Juanambú Canyon in Nariño Department Colombia (South of Colombia), In this site was the battle between patriots and royalists seeking independence of Colombia in April 1814.
The bridge was built in 1866 and the area still exist trenches and a cave where the royalists took refuge.
The tour is done from Pasto City by road to Buesaco Town. You take a 50 km of paved road, and the last three kilometers by a very steep road that it is done in four wheel drive vehicle. You descend 400 m down to get the bottom of the canyon at 1150 meters above sea level.
The park is administered by Comfamiliar US $ 0.5 entrance fee. R restaurant and therapeutic pools service are abailable
