Itinerary description

Drive from Taraz to the early medieval (750 AD) fortress of Akyrtas. The construction was never completed with no traces of human habitation. Was it supposed to become a church, or a palace, or a caravanserai. Possibly it was intended to by a Karluk army camp built by Arab architects.
