Itinerary description
This GPS track shows the route from Redway to Shelter Cove in 3D. Take Exit 639A off the Redwood Highway 101 to Garberville. Follow Redwood Dr. for 3 miles into Redway then turn left on Briceland Thorn Rd, follow this road to Thorn Junction where it turns into Shelter Cove Road.
Be advised that Shelter Cove Rd is very steep dropping 2400' in just 5 miles so that the grade exceeds 10% most of the way.
