Depart from Johannesburg airport to the first hotel in hazyview.
Arriving at the airport was quiet and soon on arrival we went looking for socket adapters and sim card for the cell phone.
We did not buy adapter at the airport because it was too expensive (we saw R89 and R199). We bought a mobile phone chip from Vodafone near the exit.
There are many people offering help near the landing and none seemed reliable. The best thing to do is to ignore them and keep walking. If you need any help ask women in stores or the security guards.
Picking up the rental car was very similar to anywhere else in the world. Already the roads, despite the English hand, are more similar to Brazil. There are roads with holes and no shoulders and there are also highways that resemble Bandeirantes (SP). Slower drivers tend to pass but we have seen a lot of infractions and speeding along the route, so I recommend attention.
Direction adaptation will depend on each other but is not as difficult as it seems.
We chose a Hazyview B&B to rest and have a day of booking before arriving at the game reserve. Our B&B was in a condominium and the owners were
great. On the map you can see some stops. The highway stops were restful and the hazyview stops were at the mall and in a great food court.
