Itinerary description
Shahdara is somewhat 20 kilometer from Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
The Shahdara Morr, is a few meters after the Bara Kahu flyover.
Road is well maintained for the first part, however it has small patches where it is broken. Since you pass settlements, so there are speed breakers. There are couple of turns which are steep like Pir Sohawa Road but not that steep. You pass the Shahdara Bridge which has some restaurants. But since it’s a rather dry season so there were no tourists. Also we reached very early and returned bit in dark so we could have not seen if there were any.
Away from the parking, had to walk for 3 additional kilometers on the road and it was well maintained road with plenty of space. There however was no fuel station or repair shops.
