Morning safari from Pafuri Camp, north of South Africa's famous Kruger National Park. We are in Makuleke Contract Park, north of both the national park and the country itself, in fact very close to the border with Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
Although this national park is famous for the self-guided "safaris" that we can do on our own, we can also hire private safaris that logically offer us much better opportunities to observe wild animals since the rangers communicate with each other and warn of the "prey". "better and above all we don't have to be competing with the rest of the drivers who go by themselves and every time we see an interesting animal we form long queues and fight to take the best position to get the best view.
We are going to enjoy basically herds of elephants in this park along the Luvuvhu river. There are good examples of baobabs and Yellow Fevers acacias. We will also enjoy the vision of a good feast that some hyenas had, without leaving a fox to participate in it.
