Itinerary description

Colombia by car. Carebean Coast and district of Magdalena: Cartagena, Mompos, Baru, Tolu, Santa Marta. Don't be afraid to take a classic Sedan to drive on these roads (during dry season only). Season of this trip: December. Cartagena and Mompos are Higlights.If you have time you should also visit the "Aviario Nacional de Colombia" with lots of colorful birds, the park is very "natural" and not zoo-like. I also felt very secure in this part of the country and....I travelled alone with no knowledge of spanish language. You can easily find your way (also very small roads) with waze, mobile cell coverage is excellent.
