04/15/2024.
Today a tour with the fantastic guide Lila takes us first to revisit the Swayambhunath or monkey temple which we visited yesterday independently but with multiple explanations that make us fully understand the culture and history of these people. We then move to Pashupatinath where on the banks of the Bagmati river, we see the funerary ghats along the banks of the Bagmati and witness the rite of cremation of the deceased. We then move towards the Boudhanath stupa, have lunch and return to the hotel.
