Itinerary description
This route takes you from the main highway near San Fernando to the Piparo mud volcano and the on to the Devil's wood yard mud volcano. The route should be good to follow. The Devil's wood yard is in a nice park with covered picnic tables and a small shop nearby.
Note some of the mud volcanoes are more active than others. Being mud and it raining a lot in Trinidad means that they are constantly being washed away. Look out for the broad flat outline of mud which has been erupted.
My GPS ran out of battery before getting back to the main highway but this should not be a problem, stay on the road it will take you back there. The road is poor in several places with landslides and down to a single line. Drive carefully.
