Itinerary description

Excellent site for observing waterbirds. This is also the nesting place (in May and June) for snowy plovers (chorlito nevado), so if you go during this period, park far from the water and when you walk, watch your feet very carefully to avoid stepping on their eggs!

This is near the Pemex station. Make a U-turn here and get onto the "lateral" which parallels the highway.

Turn right onto dirt road heading south.
