მარშრუტი მოიცავს საჩხერის მუნიციპალიტეტის ძირითად ტურისტულ ატრაქციებს: მოდინახეს ციხე, აკ. წერეთლის სახლმუზეუმი და საგამოფენო სივრცე, აკ. წერეთლის ძიძისეული კარ-მიდამო, წმ. გიორგის მე-11 საუკუნის ეკლესია, მუხრან მაჭავარიანის სახლმუზეუმი და პაოლო იაშვილის სახლმუზეუმი.
მარშრუტი იწყება ქუთაისის ცენტრიდან. მისი გავლა შესაძლებელია მსუბუქი მანქანით. მარშრუტზე არსებული ყველა ადგილის მოვლა შესაძლებელია ერთ დღეში.
შენიშვნა: მუზეუმები არ მუშაობს ორშაბათობით.

The route includes the main tourist attractions of Sachkhere Municipality: Modinakhe Castle, Akaki Tsereteli House Museum and Exhibition Space (Akaki Tsereteli one of the most famous Georgian poets of XIX c.), 11-th century church of St. George, Mukhran Machavariani House Museum (Famous Georgian poet of XX c.) and Paolo Iashvili House Museum (Georgian poet, one of the leaders of Georgian symbolist movement "Blue Horns").
The route starts from the center of Kutaisi. It can be passed by car. All locations along the route can be maintained in one day.
Note: Museums are not open on Mondays.

კოლხური ფანტანი - Colchis Fountain
For English scroll down ქალაქის შუაგულში, მის მთავარ მოედანზე დგას საინტერესო ნაგებობა - შადრევანი. ის გაფორმებულია საქართველოს ტერიტორიაზე ნაპოვნი არქეოლოგიური არტეფაქტების _ მინიატურული სკულპტურების გადიდებული ფიგურებით. მაგალითად, ცნობილი ბრინჯაოს ქანდაკება „თამადა“, რომელიც ჩვ.წ აღრიცხვამდე მე-7 საუკუნით თარიღდება, ასევე შადრევნის მთავარი ფიგურა ქალის სასაფეთქლეები _ ანტიკური პერიოდის ქართული საიუველირო ხელოვნების ბრწყინვალე ნიმუში. სასაფეთქლეების ორიგინალური ზომა მხოლოდ 13 სანტიმეტრია. / In the middle of the city, on its main square stands an interesting fountain. It is decorated with enlarged models of archaeological artefacts found on the whole territory of Georgia. For example, the famous bronze sculpture “Tamada”, which dates back to the 7th century BC. In the Georgian language, “Tamada” means a leader of the “supra” feast table who proposes toasts. The main figure of the fountain represents a woman’s temple jewellery _ magnificent model of antic time goldsmithery.

For English scroll down 1904 წელს რკინგზის ხაზი გაიყვანეს საჩხერემდე. 1905 წელს კი ცნობილი ქველმოქმედის ელისაბედ წერეთლის ინიციატივით და ფინანსური მხარდაჭერით აიგო რკინიგზის სადგური. შენობა მიწისძვრამ დაანგრია, თუმცა 2000 წელს პირვანდელი სახით აღადგინეს. / In 1904, Sachkhere was joined to Georgian railway network. In 1905, with the initiative and financial support of Elisabeth Tsereteli - the famous philanthropist , a railway station was built in Sachkhere. The building was destroyed by an earthquake, but it was restored to its original form in 2000.
ციხე მოდინახე - Modinakhe Fortress
For English scroll down იმერეთის ერთ-ერთი მნიშვნელოვანი ციხე "მოდინახე" საჩხერის ჩრდილოეთით 1 კმ-ში მდებარეობს. ციხე XVIII საუკუნის 30-იან წლებში თავადმა პაპუნა წერეთელმა ააშენა. საინტერესოა ციხე-სიმაგრის სახელთან დაკავშირებული ლეგენდა. ისტორიის თანახმად, თავადმა დავით აბაშიძემ პაპუნა წერეთელს ქალიშვილის მითხოვებაზე უარი უთხრა, მიზეზად კი ის დაასახელა, რომ სასიძოს ციხე არ ჰქონდა. პაპუნამ უარი არ თქვა საცოლეზე და ციხე ააშენა. ახალ რეზიდენციაში გადასვლის შემდეგ მან დავით აბაშიძეს მისწერა: „მოდი და ნახე". სწორედ აქედან მომდინარეობს ციხის სახელწოდება. / One of the most important fortresses of Imereti region "Modinakhe" is located to the north of Sachkhere (1 km away). The fortress was built in the 30s of the XVIII century by Papuna Tsereteli - one of the nobles of Imereti region. The legend related to the name of the fortress is interesting. According to the story, Papuna Tsereteli asked Davit Abashidze - another noble of Imereti for his daughter. Davit Abashidze refused Papuna Tsereteli. The reason of refusal was that the later did not have his own fortress. After that Papuna Tsereteli built the fortress and wrote to Davit Abashidze "Modi Nakhe" (In english this means come and see). This is where the name of the fortress comes from.

The museum's funds house the personal belongings of the poet and his ancestors (accessories, clothes), French, Italian, German furniture of the first half of the XIX century, pottery, library (editions of different periods in Georgian, Russian, French books), manuscripts of the poet and other public figures.

According to this tradition, Akaki Tsereteli (who waas from the family of nobles) spent his childhood (before entering school) in this house.
