Day 3 of our tour through the Kruger Park between the Pafuri area (the northernmost part) and the Shingwedzi Camp, crossing the paved road H1-8 and H1-7, making a couple of stops in the Picnic Area of Babalala and in the Boyela Waterhole Panoramic Point, both good places to rest and watch wild animals.
We make a detour through the dirt track S56, next to the Mphongolo riverbed, where we enjoy abundant sightings of African fauna (sometimes too close for our small car).
We make one last stop at the Lamont Waterhole, where we enjoyed observing the elephants. Although perhaps where we most enjoy the elephants is already very close to Camp Shingwedzi, because there they have a zone of mud and sand where they do their washes despurgantes.
