Itinerary description
Jalpa - Virela. This is the back way from San Miguel to Comonfort. You leave San Miguel as if you were going to. Queretaro. Watch for the sign to Jalpa on the right, not too far out of SMA. This will be a gorgeous trip when the windflowers are in bloom. You are traveling around the base of an ancient HUGE volcano, easily seen on Google earth. Some of the roads are cobblestone or dirt with potholes.
