INDONESIA: Lake Toba Drive (Sumatra)

Drive through Pulau Samosir and Lake Toba. We depart from our hotel by Tuk Tuk and head north along the road that borders Pulau Samosir to our first stop at the Huta Bolon Simanindo museum where we can observe the famous and strange traditional houses of the area to continue going around the north from Samosir until we reach the bridge that connects Samosir with the rest of the island of Sumatra to leave Samosir and begin to climb a mountain road with a steep slope towards the viewpoint known as Menara Padang Tele where we enjoy spectacular views and near which is the restaurant where we had lunch. We continue the route, returning along a different road with a steep downward slope until we reach the Air Tejun Efrata waterfall and continue to a viewpoint towards Lake Toba with very beautiful views. Next we headed towards Sianjur Mula Valley where we stopped several times to take photos and continued towards the shore of the lake to return towards Samosir and return along the same route to our hotel by Tuk Tuk.

Paseo en coche por Pulau Samosir y el Lago Toba. Partimos de nuestro hotel en Tuk Tuk y nos dirigimos hacia el norte por la carretera que bordea Pulau Samosir hasta nuestra primera parada en el museo Huta Bolon Simanindo donde podemos observar las famosas y extrañas casas tradicionales de la zona para continuar dando la vuelta por el norte de Samosir hasta llegar al puente que une Samosir con el resto de la isla de Sumatra para abandonar Samosir y comenzar a subir por una carretera de montaña con fuerte pendiente hacia el mirador conocido como Menara Padang Tele donde disfrutamos de unas vistas espectaculares y cerca del cual se encuentra el restaurante donde almorzamos. Continuamos la ruta regresando por una carretera diferente y fuerte pendiente de bajada hasta llegar a la cascada Air Tejun Efrata y continuar hasta un mirador hacia el Lago Toba con unas vistas muy bonitas. A continuación nos dirigimos hacia Sianjur Mula Valley donde paramos varias veces para tomar fotos y seguimos hacia la orilla del lago para regresar así hacia Samosir y volver por la misma ruta hasta nuestro hotel en Tuk Tuk.
NOTA: La ruta no empecé a grabarla hasta llegar al puente por el que abandonabamos la isla de Samosir.
