Itinerary description
This route is advised during Carnival, Holidays and "rush hour" traffic.
NOTE: Both end portions of La Peña main road should be avoided. The ends are DANGEROUS, due to oncoming high speed traffic and poor visibility at sharp turns. Use the route shown for safest journey.
START from Panama City on the Interamericana Highway, in the area of La Hacienda Hotel/Casino, the boulevard road joins into highway lanes. Continue west bound on the Interamericana Highway.
Just near the end of straight highway, turn LEFT towards Estadio de La Peña. Follow twisty road bearing RIGHT.
Turn LEFT onto the main road of La Peña.
Turn RIGHT from main road as marked and pass the Cemetario La Peña.
Turn RIGHT to go to Sona.
FOLLOW this route in reverse to return to Panama City.
