Itinerary description

A seaside drive on highway and rural roads to the north of Dalian. Stops at a small town and seafood restaurant.

Seafood vendors

Purchases here were taken into the restaurant at a subsequent waypoint and cooked to order. This seems strange to westerners at first, but apparently an accepted practice for locals.

Fruit and vegetable stall

All local produce from immediate area.

Pier

On a small concrete pier in fish boat moorage area. A work boat arrives to drop off passengers. An interesting place to linger of the shores of the Bohai Gulf.

Small seaside resort area

This summer holiday location was not crowded at the time of our visit. Restaurants, beach pavilions and jet boat rentals are open in the summer holiday months.
