Visit the Saqqara complex and see the Pyramid of Djoser, considered the first Pyramid directed by the architect Imhotep for Pharaoh Djoser, belonging to the III Dynasty. You access the interior of the Pyramid through an entrance that is not the original one and you reach the well that was the 28 m deep Mortuary Chamber. (The entrance is additional to the general entrance to Saqqara and cost us on May 5, 2024 220 Egyptian pounds). The Pyramid enclosure is accessed through a temple with a room of columns without inscriptions. You enter a square walled enclosure where a party was held to demonstrate the pharaoh's youth. At the bottom of that enclosure is the Step Pyramid, with 6 steps (each with 10 steps and each step having the shape of a mastaba).
In addition, tombs (nastabas) from later years belonging to nobles and princesses are visited, with scenes of daily life (butchers, agriculture, fishing, sanctions for those who do not pay taxes, etc.).
The Pyramid of Pharaoh Unas y otros is also located in the complex.
