Itinerary description
Today we motored gently south and camped by a stream not far from the Mongolian border. We were woken abruptly by three men just after it got dark. Apparently we were on a camp site and needed to pay......well, that's what they said! To avoid any unpleasantness, and after some discussion, we coughed up 500 Roubles (£10) and were left in peace.
