Itinerary description
Amb els seus 1.441 m d’alçada és el cim més elevat de les Terres de l’Ebre. La seva ascensió inclou el pas per diversos tipus d’hàbitats sumant una gran diversitat d’espècies d’ocells. Comencen per gran extensions d’oliveres on s’escolta el cant de la cotoliu alhora que és refugi d’energia per gran estols de tords, tallarols i altres ocells aprofitant aquest fruit del Mediterrani. El pas per boscos ens ajuda a detectar trencapinyes tot arribant a les zones elevades on a l’hivern es troben el sit negre i el cercavores.

Con sus 1.441 m. de altura es la cima más elevada de las Terres de l'Ebre. Su ascensión incluye el paso por varios tipos de hábitats sumando una gran diversidad de especies de pájaros. Empiezan por grandes extensiones de olivos donde se escucha el canto de la alondra totovía, a la vez que es refugio de energía para grandes bandadas de zorzales, currucas y otros pájaros aprovechando este fruto del Mediterráneo. El paso por bosques nos ayuda a detectar piquituertos, llegando a las zonas elevadas donde en invierno se encuentran el escribano montesino y el acentor alpino.

At 1.441 m. in height, this is the highest peak in the Terres de l'Ebre region. Its ascent includes passing through various types of habitats, and consequently there is a huge variety of bird species. To begin, there are large expanses of olive trees where the song of the woodlark can be heard, there are also large flocks of thrushes, warblers and other birds taking advantage of this Mediterranean fruit. By passing through the forests, you can spot common crossbills, and then reaching higher areas the rock bunting and alpine accentor can be found during the winter.
