Itinerary description
The most direct route from Cape Town to De Hoop Nature Reserve.
The De Hoop gate closes at 6pm except on Fridays when it closes at 7pm.
Pity that the De Hoop Collection staff forgot to tell us about the later time on Friday otherwise we would have taken the longer dirt road route, from just east of Caledon, via Klipdale, for better bird watching with our Spanish guests!
