Park in the Kootenay.
Dull day with several sight points closed due to the presence of some fires along the way. At about km.27, turn right onto a 14 km long dirt road that descends towards the Kootenay River where we meet a Rangers who advises us to go back because of the high fire risk in the area. Let's go back to the 93 we stop at Marbel Canion and a little further on to Paint Pots. Leaving the Kootenay we take the A1 towards Banff. Stop at Johnson's Canyon to see the falls of the Johnston Creek. (6 km of walking path A / R).
Overnight in Canmore at the Rundie Cabins.
