ACCESS: The combination of vehicles is not necessary.

APPROACH: Approximately one hour walking at a good pace with an elevation gain of 475 meters, a tough and demanding ascent. Pay close attention to the "Left Turn" waypoint.

RETURN: Immediate.

HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST RAPPEL: R3 is 115 meters.

WATER FLOW INFORMATION: The canyon has a permanent flow of water but with few noticeable pools.

ATTIRE: Full wetsuit according to the dates.

BEST ASPECT: It is a vertical canyon with very impressive medium and high technical descents. It is an open and panoramic ravine with plenty of sunlight, especially in the afternoon. Immediately after the 60-meter waterfall, you will encounter the highest waterfall in Ticino, a single 115-meter free-hanging rappel. Regarding measurements, mine turned out to be below what is indicated in the topo (it's always preferable to be longer than shorter), and those are the ones I marked as waypoints. For example, I would say that the high rappel is not even 110 meters, but we will leave it as is.

After the big vertical section, there are several smaller descents, each with its own beauty, on uneven terrain in a somewhat narrow section that leads us to a bridge with an arch.

The canyon ends with a magnificent crossing of the Biasca waterfalls, a symbol of the village that is something unique not to be missed.

The water is very clear and abundant, gently falling on the smoothed granite rocks.

WORST ASPECT: Possibly the approach. Avoid during storms and thawing. This canyon is very technically demanding and recommended only for canyoneers who are competent with ropes and not afraid of heights; it becomes very demanding when there is a water flow.
