The approach to this last stretch of the João Delgado Stream is via the Véu da Noiva footpath. Leave a car near the end of the canyoning exit trail (32.815560, -17.081400). Park the second car near the Véu da Noiva viewpoint (32.816210,-17.096050) and follow the old road towards the waterfall. Go over the wall blocking the access and continue for about 200 metres to the beginning of a steep path on the right-hand side. This footpath is not used often and has steep, exposed, and slippery passages. Continue until a ridge and descend to the beginning of the canyoning (1.2 km).
