🇪🇸 🇺🇸 | Barranco del Tesoro (V4 A1 I) | Barranco Seco/Dry Canyon | Chulilla (Valencia)

🇪🇸 Español: Barranco seco del Tesoro, situado en Chulilla, que cuenta con tres rapeles. El rapel más largo es de 40m, por lo cual llevar al menos 80m de cuerda.

Desde Valencia, se llega a Chulilla en menos de una hora. Para acceder al barranco, podemos dejar el coche en el terreno habilitado para ello. Es un espacio grande donde caben unos 10 coches fácilmente. Eso sí, es el mismo aparcamiento para la ruta que lleva al Charco Azul. En verano, se pueden llenar rápidamente. Más arriba, en el pueblo, hay posibilidades para aparcar también.

La aproximación al barranco lleva unos 25 minutos. Es una ruta fácil con un entorno precioso. El primer rapel está un poco escondido. Aconsejamos seguir bien nuestro track para no perdérselo. El primer rapel es un semi volado de unos 20m. Unos metros más adelante encontraremos el segundo rapel. 40m sobrevolando la cueva del Gollizno. Una maravilla de rapel, impresionante. La joya de este barranco. Acabaremos el barranco con un último rapel, de casi 40m. Es una bajada con escalones, fácil. Se baja hasta encontrar el camino de vuelta. No se paren en la repisa, que parece el final del rapel. Seguid bajando unos metros más. De allí, empezaremos la vuelta. El primer tramo del camino no está bien marcado y se camina entre arboles y zarzas. Seguir bien el track para poder encontrar el camino de vuelta sin dificultad. La vuelta tarda unos 25 minutos.

Es un barranco muy interesante. Tener cuidado y llevar protector de cuerda ya que los rapeles tienen bastantes roces.

Se puede combinar el barranco con la bonita ruta del Charco Azul, ya que el punto de partida es el mismo para las dos rutas. El Charco Azul se encuentra a unos 30 minutos de aparcamiento. Es una ruta fácil, apta para toda la familia.

From Valencia, you can get to Chulilla in less than an hour. To reach the canyon, you can leave your car in the designated area. It is a large area where about 10 cars can easily fit. We will finish the canyon with a final rappel, almost 40m. It is a descent with steps, easy. You go down until you find the way back. Do not stop at the ledge that seems to be the end of the rappel. Go down a few more meters. From there the return begins. The first part of the path is not very well marked and you will have to walk through trees and bushes. Follow the trail closely to find the way back without any problems. The return takes about 25 minutes.

It is a very interesting canyon. Be careful and bring a rope protector, because the rappels have a lot of friction.

You can combine this canyon with the beautiful route of the Charco Azul, since the starting point is the same for both routes. Charco Azul is about 30 minutes from the parking lot. It is an easy route suitable for the whole family.
