My favourite of the top 3 canyons on Crete (Arvi, Ha, Portela)
Max rap 50m
A headtorch can be useful in the cave-like narrows.
Don't do it in high flow, if you misjudge the water level, there are high flow anchors until the big cascade, at which point there is rope 'via ferrata' as an emergency exit.
Don't be put off by the irrigation pipes at the start, the canyon just gets better and better.
