Two-day gravel bike ride on the "Eurovelo1" route in Ireland. From Ballyhack Ferry in County Wexford to Cork City, sleeping in Dungarvan.
Very nice route through the spectacular Irish fields that runs through part of the south of the country. It borders the city of Waterford and makes the beautiful greenway "greenway" to Dungarvan where I slept in a hotel. Almost all the time on small local roads with little traffic. Some worse stretch coming into Cork. It passes through many locations with all kinds of services. In total there were 196km with 1640m of positive elevation gain.
Day 1 Ballyhack (Co. Wexford) - Dungarvan (Co. Waterford): 80.58km-765.22m.
Day 2 Dungarvan (Co. Waterford) - Cork (Co Cork): 115.28km-870.91m.

The first part of the Eurovelo1 crossing in Ireland from the port of Roslare to Ballyhack, 123km-1974m was done on the "South Wexford crossing" route.

I did this first section as part of another route sleeping on a beach. But it can be done in two stages of 61km-879m and 61km-1098m sleeping in the town of Wellingtongridge.
