Itinerary description
I made 40.km in the first day and camped in Lago Hermosa. There is a camping , Camping Lago Hermaso, that cost 4000 pesos. At the beach in Lago Hermosa there is a restaurant El Malamado, they really have a very tasty hamburger. The second day I made nearly 70 km all the way to Lago Espejo beach. It is a small beach where camping is free. It is nice but very close to the main road so it can get noisy. However after 10 pm until 8 Am car traffic is very infrequent.
There is also free camping next to Lago Villarino and a lot of people prefer this place.
It is really beautiful. There are many cyclists, caravans and backpackers camping as they like. The area is big so there is plenty of space.
Most of the campings along the way are quite beautiful.
Among the beaches i visited I particularly loved Lago Traful which had one of the best campings I have ever seen in my life. I sent 2 hours at the beach wandering around. The campings at the Lago Espejo Chico are also very nice. Little before reaching the turn to Lago Espejo Chico there is an Artesenia Shop, şeklini Mapucha artcrafts. Lucas is the artisano. There are very nice products at doçent prices. Stop and visit. There is also a little Forest Museum free to visit.
The Third day, I was only 16 km froM Villa Angostura, I started pedalling at 7.30 Am and reached to deliver my bicycle at exactly 9 Am.
Ps. The actual distance is 20km less. I took the bus on return and stopped wikiloc only after 20 km down back to Villa San Martin.
