Impressive stage. Incredible landscape change. The first part is a gentle climb through cedar and pine forests with grass, passing through peasant communities. The descent to the Rift Valley is incredible, from the slope you see the entire valley and Lake Navasha. Upon reaching the bottom, a drier, hotter landscape begins and we enter into a reservation upon payment of 1000 Kenyan shillings per person, you have to call them beforehand. But it is impressive, you cross 3 esplanades with all kinds of animals from the savanna (except lions). Highly recommended.
For the night the fisherman camp. A beautiful place with bungalows and camping and a restaurant, boats... on the shores of the lake. We saw Hippos at night at 10 m, there is a protection fence.
The day was hard because of the sun but it is soft.
In some areas of the road there is sand but it is bearable.
The descent is suitable for MTB. There are some small parts that are a bit technical.
It is essential to protect yourself well from the sun and carry plenty of water, although you can buy or refill in any town.

Volvemos al track. Hemos evitado el último tramo del track original porque el camino por el bosque estaba en malas condiciones
