11 day route from Galsgow Airport (Paysley) to Inverness.
(ROUTE CARRIED OUT IN JULY 2023)

We arrived by plane from Barcelona to Glasgow and slept in one of the hotels that are close to the same airport where they will reserve our boxes for the return flight.

Stages:

DAY 1: 123 km / 1,076 m. Passing through Greenock and Inveraray. Sleeping in free camping next to a lake (sun)

DAY 2: 107 km / 891 m. Passing through Glencoe, Onich and we detour 3 km to sleep at the Estroncia campsite (rainy afternoon and night)

DAY 3: 93 km / 1,127 m. Free camping on the island of Mull, spectacular! (rainy morning and sunny afternoon)

DAY 4: 75 km / 1,025 m. We continue crossing the beautiful island of Mull and sleep in the campsite 2 km from where the ferry drops us off. (rainy morning)

DAY 5: 85 km / 1,303 m. We slept at a campsite just 5 km from the Ferry to Sky (intermittent rain morning, sunny afternoon)

DAY 6: 120 km / 1,522 m. It won't be a good day, we started with a lot of rain and we arrived at Sky pouring, plus the roads are wide and there are a lot of cars. We decided to turn around without enjoying this island. If you want to visit it, it is better to look for a specific track to make a good visit to Sky. (very rainy morning, cloudy afternoon)

DAY 7: 67 km / 1,506 m. Day with a lot of rain and a lot of wind, we finally managed to spend the night in a hotel where we could dry all our clothes in the small and idyllic town of Shieldaig that also has a campsite.

DAY 8: 62 km / 622 m. Rainy, windy and cold day. We do what we can until we reach the Gariloch campsite, where they have a small covered area with a table and microwave reserved for cycle tourists on rainy days. Quite a gift for us!

DAY 9: 92 km / 1,283 m. Intermittent rainy day to Ullapool, a small town that has all the services.

DAY 10: 100 km / 2,024 m. Day of many ups and downs through a somewhat different landscape that we love, it is worth the difference in level. We will sleep in free camping near Inchnadamph. (sunny day)

DAY 11: 130 km / 1,129 m. Last day of pedaling and we arrived at the beautiful northern city, Inveress. (sunny day)
