Itinerary description

The second and last day of our journey trough the Dão and Vouga rivers, using the greenways that were once old railways.
After a very cold and silent night, we pack up and hit the road with a new goal in mind, to cover all the 150km left in one day.
The kilometers were easy and beautiful, and we reached Tondela fast.
To buy some food, we jump off the Dão greenway and go to the Tondela center.
Back to the greenway, we continued towards Viseu. It was all paved, well maintained, and full of old railstations that were amazing rest stops. Some of them had music and bars!
In Viseu, we reach the end of the Dão greenway and make a few km to reach the Vouga greenway. The Vouga path near Viseu and all the way down to S. Pedro do Sul is a mix of paved/gravel, with some parts not fully completed but way better than 3 years ago when we cycled it.
It is an amazing path, full of trees and passing through the middle of old towns.
Reaching S. Pedro do Sul with an amazing downhill and river crossing.
After that, the path was not fully completed, so we made some hike-a-bike.
After that, the greenway was perfect in every way. All paved and mostly downhill until it reaches Sernada do Vouga, where it ends.
From Sernada, we took local roads home.
143km and 1218 elevation gain is easy to made, but the 08H30 min on the bike is always challenging.
