Itinerary description
A mixture of sand, gravel, single track and asphalt. In France, I largely followed (hiking) pilgrim routes, filtering out the parts that were really unrideable with a bike.
The section in the northern part of Spain is very mountainous, but also very beautiful.
The ride starts near Charleroi, Belgium and ends in Caceres, Spain.
More info and blog posts about the route on my website: https://bike-a-way.com/2020/09/30/france-cycling-along-the-via-campaniensis/
The simplified track uploaded here gives wrong distances & altitudes.
Correct figures:
- Total distance: 5.105 km
- Total elevation gain: 67.189 meter.
