Climbing the Kardung of 5,600 meters takes a whole day, acclimatization becomes paramount to do it, the roads become difficult in many of the sections, in which the stone and mud make the road harder ... the spherical shines by its absence , so the stud wheels are essential.
A lot of caution if it rains, because the torrents invade the road dragging stones and in some cases make it disappear.
Very careful in the Rohtang Pass, this is full of vehicles, it is very narrow and you run the risk of being thrown off the road ...... always circular next to the slope not next to the precipice, The same road connects to Leh Ladakh ( State of Jammu and Kashmir) with Manali (state of Himachal Pradesh). The Sonepani glacier and a small lake (Dashahr) are located opposite and to the left of Rohtang respectively. The road through the Kullu valley, past Manali and through the Rohtang Pass to Keylong and Lahul.
