Itinerary description
Doesn’t actually end in Chiang Dao, 10 kms to go still. Challenging ride but all tarmac so apt for road cycling also, a bit of traffic, some of the bends can be a bit dangerous if going uphill coz of grass growing right next to road, many thumbs up, a few places to re-fill (needed), awesome cafe serving delicious espresso (the best?), ends at cross roads linking road to Chiang Mai with roads from Fang district and from xxx, here u can get a bus (the one coming from Fang, last one arriving at around 7 pm - THB100 for bike plus THB63 for person), Songteu, hitch a ride, or cycle as not many hills from here on, compared to what u experienced to get there that is. Places to stay near Chiang Dao proper.
