WCRVBB-T17-TOUR OF DENMARK-STAGE 07-Hirtshals-Skagen 72 km

This is the 7th stage of the Tour of Denmark that you can find clicking here.

STAGE DESCRIPTION
Perhaps the most beautiful stage is this 7th, with many interesting points. It departs from Hirsthals throught paved and non paved path between the forest till you arrive at beautiful and desert sandy beaches. Then follow more sandy paths through the forest till de vegetation disapears and you reach Blabjerg dune, that is moving every year. Scenery of some desert films.
More paths through desert vegetation and stop and Skagen Kirke Sand, which was deserted when the sand covered till the roof of the church. Finally you reach Skagen, a vively city with a harbour with pictoric restaurants. Finally the final way to Grenen, the northen part of Denmark. Every body goes there, on foot or with de bus-tractors. To the point where the two seas joints. The waves joints. The two beaches joints. Very curious. Back to Skagen to the final of the stage.

POINTS OF INTEREST
   - Blabjerg dune, the dune that is moving.
   - Skagen kirke in the sand.
   - Skagen lighthouse and bunkers.
   - Grenen, the top of Denmark.

DESTINATION POINT
Skagen, in Skagen Danhostel. Very vively center with a sort of restaurants with fresh fish in the harbour.
