WCRVBB-T17-TOUR OF DENMARK: STAGE 04-Thyboron-Thisted 86 km

This is the 4th stage of the Tour of Denmark that you can find clicking here.

STAGE DESCRIPTION
The fourth stage starts in Thyboron, and you have to take a ferry to get the north part of the Limfjord. Then we leave the North Sea route to follow the National route number 5 of the Limfjord till Thisted. The Limfjord converts the north part of the Jutland in a island, joined with the main land with some bridges.
The route take some quiet local roads with beautifull views to the Limfjord. A scenary route trought harvest fields and electric windmills. A bit hilly but not very high.

POINTS OF INTEREST
   - Vestervig kirke. Very quiet and interesting cementery around.
   - Klostermollen. Traditional windmil.
   - Vilsund Bridge. One of the few than connect the north to the south of Limfjord.

DESTINATION POINT
Thisted. Sleeping in Thisted Danhostel which is situated oustide, in the north part of the city. Thisted is an interesting village with a big comercial street and port.
-    Nytorv Square.
-    Harbour.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
Take a short cut from Vestervig to Gammelby to make the route shorter.
