Itinerary description
Touring Denmark: The second trail in six that will take you on a tour of about 550 km through Denmark from the north of Jylland to Copenhagen with daily legs of about 80 km. This leg of the trail is laid on the railbed from the former railway from Viborg to Herning and from there to Brande on the roads. Following the main road where there are bike lanes, and taking some smaller detours on smaller roads where there are no bike lanes. This will also help you enjoy the landscape. Denmark is very windy, and the these railbeds offer a great protection from the wind.
