Itinerary description
This was my third time riding a bicycle from Velika Gorica to Gradina so I wanted to do something different this time. Instead of choosing the shortest route I have created somewhat longer route with some interesting features such as taking a ferry across the river Sava and traveling through wooded pathways instead of roads all the time. I have enjoyed the whole trip but my favorite time to travel is early in the morning when it's not so hot yet. So, this time the best part of this trip was first 40-ish kilometers from Velika Gorica to Ivanić-grad which includes the ferry ride I talked about. The part around town Čazma is somewhat hilly but then comes the wooded-area-part just before Veliki Zdenci which I enjoyed very much. After Grubišno polje there are some hills again. Just because of the numerous hills on the way and the trip length of cca 170 km I marked this one as "moderate" because this is really not something a novice cyclotourist could do easily.
