Waterfront Station - Seabus Terminal

Both of Vancovuer's subway lines terminate at Waterfront Station, and it is an easy transfer from the trains to Seabus. Board after pedestrians, at the Seabus door closest to the terminal. There is a bicycle sign inside. The Seabus moves at approx 18 kph across Vancouver Harbour to Lonsdale Market in North Vancouver.

The track follows as close to the seacoast as possible, on quiet streets, designated bike paths, and secondary roads farther to the west. After leaving Lonsdale Quay, the track soon enters Squamish First Nation, with a historic Church and adjacent First Nations building (see photos).

Rear gear-cable failure

Sudden cable failure at this location. Tied off broken cable end in a usable fixed gear. Google Maps found a bike shop requiring a 15 block back-track to North Vancouver, where it was fixed in 1/2 hour. This explains the back and fourth on the saved track

Credits to "Different Bikes" of North Vancouver. After a rear gear cable failure they got me going in half an hour at a very reasonable cost.
