The upper Wharfedale valley provides great limestone scenery and lovely stone built villages with plenty of opportunities for a break. There are lots of options on this route to make it as long and short as you like. There are no big climbs on the route although plenty of short ones. The roads are a delight with great views throughout. Café stops abound with chances to stop in Kilnsey, Kettlewell and Buckden, as well as the pubs in Arncliffe and Litton.
