Itinerary description
Relatively easy (other than the first uphill) and scenic track following the Vierwaldstättersee - Lake of Luzern.
Start in Brunnen (See) where you will get on a boat and stop in the first stop Treib. If you take train to Brunnen don not bother getting into a bus. It is 750 metres to get to the lake where the boat departs.
From Treib you have 4 kilometres of uphill on a scenic road with very little traffic up to Seelisberg.
From Seelisberg you will have quite good views of Fronalpstock, Rophaien, Urner Alpen and you will be standing at the base of Niederbauenchulm.
From Seelisberg the road widens and you get a little bit more traffic.
Once in Beckenried just follow bike paths towards Luzern train station.
It is all asphalt.
