Itinerary description

Easy trail to get to highway 1 south, towards Vík and eastfjords without having to go through traffic. The trail starts by Hilton Hotel and ends by highway 1.Where the trail shifts you can choose between going straight ahead or turning under the road in tunnel. If you go straight you will cross bridge and soon after that you wil go by a gas station Olís and you will get on Highway 1.
If you choose to go under the road through the tunnel you will take a little bit longer way to the highway but it is much more beautiful and one km is gravel road before you get to the highway

Here the trail lies with a horse trail.

Choose to go under road through tunnel or ride on forward.

Here you can choose between two ways, under road through tunnel witch is a little bit longer and you come to highway 1 little bit further and it is more beautiful and a gravel road for 1 km in the end where you come to the ring road.
