Obviously for bikes we don't need to register. However, there are signs everywhere: watch out for wild animals, watch out for tigers, watch out for elephants… it's not very reassuring, but during the day we only came across a few monkeys on the road. They are harmless and fugitive except at Checkpoints where they obviously know that they can steal food from stopped vehicles.
There are two consecutive climbs to be made on this route. After the first climb, and its descent there is a small village, with many small restaurants or where to stock up on food and drink.

One kilometer before this sign, there is a Checkpoint where you must register. This is valid for all vehicles. On the other hand, they let cyclists pass without asking anything. It’s a security checkpoint to cross the national park and its dense forest full of wild animals… Oopssss
