Itinerary description

Detour of 20 km round trip to see the Tasman glacier. Arrive at the car park, walk for around twenty minutes.
Then return a few kilometers on the Alps2Ocean trail before taking the road to Twinzel.
The campsite is not super flat and there are lots of mosquitoes

The Alps to Ocean trail ends here. You have to take a helicopter to cross to the other side of the river. Having done it in the other direction two days ago, I go down towards Twizel on the right bank, on the road with the camper vans.
