73km and 400m of accumulated positive difference. Stage without mass complications following the Mekong River on a quiet road with beautiful river views. Arrived in Chiang Khong, we take a boat to cross the Mekong and change the riverbank and country, because in this stretch it borders Thailand and Laos. The boat takes us to Houay Say, on the other side, already in the territory of Laos, where we spent the night.
