Brutal climb as soon as you leave, which catches you with icy legs and continues for several kms, it already makes you think about what the day will be like, haha. Nothing could be further from the truth, after a few hard kilometers, with views of the first crops, and with Mount Kenya in the background, the profile is transformed, for the comfort of the cyclist. Lots of people on the road. I freak out with the women dressed for Sunday, and accompanied by their families and friends, some with wigs, and all dressed in their bags and gala dresses to go to one of the many different local churches. You listen to the songs and sermons from the road. Like every day, children brighten your way.
