Itinerary description
This track shows the road that connects the Friendship Highway (Lhasa to Kathmandu) to the Everest Base Camp from the crossroad in the 318 National Rd (close to New Tingri) up to a little bit higher than the Rongbuk Monastery and the access to the North Face Everest Base Camp in the Sagarmatha National Park

Just the altitude makes the whole thing hard, but the trek is mostly level and through picturesque vistas. seeing the mighty Everest, in the end, makes it all worth it.
