Itinerary description
Reykjavík Gray Line bus terminal and out of town going west or north without traffic and >90% on cycle paths. Cyclists arriving in Reykjavík often cycle roads with heavy traffic. This route is from the bus terminal (Klettagarðar) for the Airport bus to Reykjavík out of town 15 km and returning a similar route but following the coast back to Reykjavík.
At the 14,5 km point I returned at a roundabout where the road splits to Þingvellir/Thingvellir and to the Nortt/West (sign Akranes).
