Hi, homers i'm thinking to take this way on bycycle with panniers. Would you worthly recommend me something i must take on account?
Hi Gianni, you must know that the RN 153 doesn't exist anymore, all the way from Santa Clara to the RP 19. Half of the way is a dry river with lots of rocks and other half is soft sand. It was impossible ride, I had to push the bike all the way. That's why I had to finish until uspallata hitchhiking.
Hi Homer, thanks. When did You ride it? Does the Road get better once the junction between rp19 and rn153 is passed (coming from santa clara)? I ask this because there are some YouTube vids of mountainbikers taking this way.
I rided it back in 2017, maybe the junction opened again, unfortunately I have no idea. But I'm interested by the YouTube video you are talking about :)
