Day Six of Valdivia to Puerto Varas - Arrival - AM Puerto Octay to Frutillar
AM Portion is paved with fantastic lake views. Best to ride during the weekdays to avoid tourism traffic. Undulating terrain! (BTW, a dirt option is available along the lake shore, as far as Frutillar.) Kuchen!
Frutillar is going to be one of the most delightful towns you have explored on this trip. It's a well-known hotspot for music, cuisine, delicacies, beaches, excellent hotels, and loveliness. You might want to stay.
Coming up in PM is our discovery of a short, fun non-paved route to complete the circuit of the lake. You can also delight in Frutillar and boogie out this route tomorrow.
