Today we have had a very good breakfast, almost being a constant, everywhere we have stayed and had breakfast, it has been quite varied and abundant. We have slept in front of the Danube, so we'll just have to take out the bikes in the garage and start pedaling, crossing the river on the same bridge that we did yesterday, it's a big bridge, below the car's driveway there is a couple of Passports, one on each side, pedestrian and bicycle.
Once on the other side, on the right bank of the river, we only have to continue its course, always above the containment docks, everything is well signposted and the floor is very well paved, as there are people with skates. A luxury
After passing Cunovo, we will leave the indications of the Cicerone guide and we will turn left, as if crossing the river, we pass bridges and take a stretch of land that runs parallel to the Canal that replaces the river, to the navigation of the large barges, we pass to the edge of two small populations that are below the level of the water and reach the dam, which has a pair of large sluices, in one of them we see a large barge, Another road, a river cruise and several small boats, is Huge!
Now, on the left bank, we will cross several small towns to Medvedov, where we will find a place to eat, then we will cross the river again and leave it to our backs until Gyor, the end of today's stage.
To point out that the interior route is probably more interesting, which passes through Mosonmagyarovar, than what we have done for the river, but then we would miss the grand canal's work and its rebuild, goes to taste.
Gyor is a great city, not so much for its size, but for its history, it has been attacked and destroyed and reconstructed since so many times it seems like a lie that still exists. Nowadays you have a Renaissance Plaza Mayor and pedestrian careers that invite you to take a walk and enjoy your peace of mind.
